Background:

Foreign Education Counseling is not merely providing guideline to students about foreign admissions and study abroad but motivating them to select, plan & visualize their future and career in a constructive manner. Education Counseling is a Bridging Platform between local students and foreign Institutions. We serve as a mediator to maintain the balance between local students and foreign educational institutions. Highly ambitious and optimist generation can explore their desire of education / knowledge stepping into the bridge. We strongly invite only potential generation to cross the bridge and to contribute tremendously for the development of our motherland and the Globe as a safe and sound place to live. Alternatively we would request foreign institutions to expand their co-operation with us for making a fruitful bridge. 

We estimate, every year around 40,000 (forty thousands) students go abroad for higher studies from our country on self-finance basis or with scholarship facilities. Another 10,000 students are rejected by the Foreign Missions due to lack of documents representation. We have calculated, every year more than 30,000 students visit the education consultancy firms to know the process of study abroad.

Standard of our education infrastructure especially course curriculum, medium of instruction, semester & credit system, is not yet international standard. Moreover political conflicts, student politics, session-jot, shortage of lab facilities make students worried about their career & future. As a result they want to take real education from developed countries like USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Germany, Denmark and other countries. We guide these potential students whenever they have decided their destination of study.

About us:

Our company officially inaugurated on September 01, 2005 to open the door of opportunity and possibilities for local students desirous to study abroad.  Our office is located at one of the busiest area in Dhaka City (Mouchak Market, one and half km away from the Dhaka Sheraton Hotel and two km from Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel) with attractive transportation and communication facilities for mass people. Honesty, sincerity and quality service was the root key of our success over the years. We strongly emphasize on our clients satisfaction with all possible aspects and do believe our goal of business depends on our commitment to clients. Our continuous efforts are to develop quality, to implement latest ideas and techniques for the best performance and to achieve excellence. We believe ‘quality accelerates quantity’.  

Every year we enroll satisfactory number of students to different institutions and countries and the number is increasing day by day.  For example, we have enrolled around 50 students to UK institutions and among them 25 students to Blake Hall College, London from September 2009 – January 2010. We are on the process of establishing professional relationship with foreign missions and education promoting bodies in Bangladesh and abroad. GEE Student Consultant is a team where professional education counselors are working together for genius and genuine education seekers. We aim to provide accurate and genuine counseling to our students who want to pursue technical & vocational education, certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, professional graduate diploma, undergraduate, post-graduate and professional levels.

As we mentioned earlier we are the mediator between the local students and foreign Institutes. We cannot do whatever we like.
Please note, our service is limited to working countries and institutes (mentioned on the home page) and we do not deal with big volume of students for a single semester. However, we may consider your application at any institutes where education is free of cost or only for the research purposes. In such a case all students have to pay us for assessment and consultancy.

We acknowledge market presence and marketing policy plays a significant role for promoting foreign institutions as well as accepting local students. Thus we have duel marketing system.

• Promoting the foreign institutions among the potential students with all possible ways.

 
(a) Regularly we visit homepage of different foreign institutions to find out facilities and probabilities of recruitment and suitability for the students of Bangladesh. While calculating possibility of co-operation we carefully consider environment & standard of education, international acceptability of the awarded degree, accreditation, year of establishment, present number of students, geographical surroundings, campus size, teachers & students directory, course curriculum of the taught subjects, tuition fees system, payment option, scholarship facilities and accommodation for the students.

(b) It is our duty to adopt different policy for the best promotion of the institution according to our market practice. Please note it varies according to market demand. However, usual process of promoting the institutions is:

• Publishing advertisement in the best known daily, weekly, fortnightly & monthly newspapers and magazines favoring the institution  
• Attending different local & international education fairs
• Arranging different seminars and conferences
• Arranging spot admission in presence of delegate from institutions
• Hanging banners, flyers and festoons in the important places
• Publishing advertisement on local visual medias
• Distributing prospectus and leaflets among the university students
• Online advertisement on local and international resources etc
